EVENT CANCELLED FOR 2025

After starting the Electric Vehicles Festival at the end of 2018, and holding my first event in the summer of 2019. And taking my event through both Covid and a cost-of-living crisis, and after having to cancel my first event at Stanford Hall due to extreme weather to then reschedule in September 2024 I have made the decision not to continue with my event planned for Sunday 11th May 2025 at Stanford Hall. Since starting my event it has mainly been self-financed by just myself and has sadly not brought in any form of event sponsorship and not enough trade have got behind the event to help the event thrive and grow, enabling it to add more content to also drive in more visitors. The event has had a great support from some really special people that have often travelled from all over the UK, including some really special people who helped via donations after my event was hit financially after having to cancel due to extreme weather in early 2024.

With all of the above, I simply cannot afford to continue to finance the event myself without a solid structure through sponsors and more trade, also having invested countless hours, weeks and in reality, years of my personal time into the event I want to get my family time back into balance. As many people will know I am one individual running the event which is sadly not my day job, it also relies on volunteers on the day of the event itself to help organise, I would like to pay a huge thank you to everyone who has played their part over the last few years.

Will the event return in the future, the simple answer is I don't know, I will be keeping the event web and socials still live with the intention to hopefully come back in some capacity again one day in the future. But for now, I am taking a break for a while, I may look at organising a meet up maybe one day in the future. After seeing events like the New Year Hogmanay cancelled this year due to extreme weather and appreciating first-hand how the organisers must be feeling and also the financial losses they are potentially having to deal with I do not want to put myself under the same stresses as I did in early 24.

To every one of you who has supported me throughout, a huge thank you and all my best wishes for the future.

About the Electric Vehicles Festival

Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy an electric day out. You don't have to be an electric vehicle enthusiast or owner to experience our special day.
The Electric Vehicles Festival is a Celebration of all Electric Vehicles. We do also welcome owners of all Full (BEV) Electric Vehicles! Car, E-Motor Bike & Scooters, Commercials Light & HGV, Buses, Coaches & Classic Conversions to come along and display your electric amongst many others. The EV Festival embraces everything to do with Electric Vehicles. So if you are thinking about going Electric yourself? Whether as a family an individual or a business. We welcome you to a fantastic day out! What better place to come and find out more and explore your options, than a Festival that Celebrates Electric Vehicles of all varieties.
The United Kingdom is working towards The Road Map to Zero. A plan set out by UK Government and put into legislation. That will lead to a future of Zero Emissions Transportation for all of us. The EV Festival set out with a plan to bring together Electric Vehicle Enthusiasts together with those who have not yet gone electric, and everyone who just simply fancies a different day out, within the stunning grounds at Stanford Hall, near Lutterworth.
Bringing both together creates a truly magical experience and can be a help and support for others as they take their first steps to an Electric Vehicle and a Zero Emissions future. So why not come and enjoy a fantastic day out for the whole family! Why not check out Our Story to see how we began?
